Beginner Lessons
Generally we recommend booking two 60-minute lessons per week. This frequency helps build muscle memory that is imperative in driving and passing the test.

Highway Lessons
Highway lessons are sc2hr minimum.
To ensure the best learning environment, we strongly recommend booking your lessons during non–rush hours when possible.

Scheduling Notice

Our schedule fills up quickly, and we strive to accommodate every student fairly.
If you need additional lessons beyond the recommended pace, please contact our office directly to discuss availability.

Please note:
Granting extra slots to one student limits availability for others. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us serve all students efficiently.

Where do lessons take place?
We offer flexible pick-up locations across the boroughs. Check our contact us page for the full list.
What kind of cars do you use?

Mostly we use Toyotas, all equipped with dual-brake systems to ensure maximum safety during your lessons.

Can I have a friend/family in the car during lessons?
For safety and insurance reasons, only the student and the instructor are allowed in the vehicle during driving lessons.

Instructors & Safety

Are your instructors certified?
Yes. All our instructors and escort drivers are certified by DMV and trained to meet high teaching standards.
Can I request a specific instructor?

All instructors serve their individual pick up location. If you would like to request a specific instructor, you would need to meet them at their designated pick up location.

Is it safe to learn to drive in busy areas?

Yes. Our instructors are trained to guide students safely in all environments. We gradually introduce complex areas as your skills improve. It is also important to learn to drive in the city as road tests are conducted on actual city streets as well.

Packages & Pricing

What packages do you offer?
We offer driving lessons, road test and highway packages. You can also book single lessons or customized bundles. Permit or license is required to take any services.
I have never driven before. Which package is best for me?

For complete beginners, we recommend 15–20 hour driving lessons. This is where we see the highest levels of preparedness and road test success.

However you can start with a 10-hour package and midway through your package, our instructors will provide a personalized evaluation to determine whether you're ready for the road test or would need additional practice.

I had my license, but I had it lapsed. What should I do?

Yes — as per DMV regulations, if your license has expired or revoked, you will need to apply for a new license. You would need to get your permit, complete the 5hr class and take a road test again.

I have my license but have not driven much for past years. Which package would you recommend?

We would recommend starting with a 5-10-hour driving lesson package where you can start driving once or twice a week to build your skills back and get confident in city driving. After that we can move to a highway practice once you are ready.

I have a driver’s license from another state. What should I do?

If you have moved to NY you can visit DMV to exchange your out-of-state license to a NY license.

I have a foreign license. Which package shall I get?

If you’ve recently moved to New York and will be living here, you are required to apply for a New York State driver’s license, regardless of your foreign license status. This means you must apply for a learner’s permit, complete the 5-hour pre-licensing course and pass the NYS road test

While your foreign license may reflect previous driving experience, we highly recommend at least one 1-hour road test preparation lesson as driving laws and road rules differ by country. The DMV evaluates a specific set of skills during the road test. A prep lesson provides personalized feedback and expert tips from our instructors, increasing your chance of passing your road test.

I drove with my friends/family/other school and have little experience. Which package would you recommend for me to get the road test ready?

While friends/family may help you practice basic driving—turns/uturns they might not be able to provide you with skills DMV is looking for during the test. That’s why we strongly recommend at least a 5-hour road test preparation package. Investing in proper preparation now can save you time, money, and the stress of having to retake your road test.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer occasional promotions and student discounts. Check our website or call for current offers. Payment plans and cash discounts available.

What is a Rush Road Test Appointment?

Our Rush Road Test Service is designed for students who need to take their road test as soon as possible—typically within 0 to 3 weeks.

Rush appointment allows us to book last-minute cancellations that the DMV releases randomly. Appointments may become available as early as the next day or within a few weeks, depending on DMV.

Why Is There a Higher Fee?

This service requires our staff to actively monitor the DMV system throughout the day to secure cancellations quickly—before others book them.
Please note that rush appointment is not 100% guaranteed (some days, the DMV may not release any slots. Rush appointment fee is non-refundable, even if appointment is not secured. Open availability helps us to secure any soonest available slot.

Do you offer pre-test evaluations?

Yes. For all road test packages, we conduct mid-package evaluations to check your progress. This helps us determine how much you've learned, your pace of improvement and whether the remaining lessons will fully prepare you for the test

If needed, we can add more lessons in advance not to affect your road test date, ensuring you have enough time to practice.

Some students prefer to book a 1-hour evaluation lesson. During this session, our instructors will:

  • Estimate how many additional lessons you may need to pass the test
  • Offer recommendations for further preparation

You can then upgrade your evaluation lesson to a full road test package or purchase a complete package, depending on your needs.

Online Services

Yes. Our online booking system allows you to select lesson times, instructors, and pick-up locations. Do I need to take 5hr pre-licensing course before lessons?
While there is no mandated sequence for taking the 5-hour pre-licensing class and driving lessons, we always recommend starting with the 5-hour class. The 5-hour class covers the essential theory, including driving rules, laws, and safety tips. Having this foundational knowledge will help you feel more prepared when you start your lessons on the road. Also DMV road test appointments often have long wait times (6–8 weeks). Completing the 5-hour class early allows us to schedule your road test as soon as possible, ensuring you get the earliest available date.
