Pre-licensing course is a mandatory classroom teaching course that educates new drivers on traffic rules and laws.
Everyone with a learner's permit must take this course. This course is required in order to schedule and take your road test. we highly recommend everyone take this course prior to taking any lessons.
The student must present either a current New York Photo Learner Permit or a valid interim permit with a New York State Government-issued ID card (such as a Non-Driver ID Card, Expired New York Photo Permit, and/or Expired New York Photo License). The photo learner permit or New York photo document are the only acceptable forms of identification.
